What Causes Loss Of Appetite After Taking Oncotrex?

I am taking oncotrex for last 14 months. I am a patient of Rhematoid Artharitis. For last 2 months I feel loss of apetite when I take oncotrex (10+10)mg. on friday once a week. This continues for 2/3 days after which everything become normal. How can I overcome this side effect ? Shall i continue with this medicine?

Oncotrex is an antimetabolite , which causes elevated liver function tests. It also causes liver damage, impairment with digestive functions and ulcerative disorders of GI tract. Which ultimately results in loss of appetite. So Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney problems and stomach problems.
