What Causes Loss In Sense Of Taste And Smell After Treatment For Sinusitis?

I had sinus pressure/pain and was on antibitoics for 5 days. I currently still have sinus issues (dizzy, migraines) and now it seems like chest breathing is a little heavier. It feels like I have been around smokers for days cause that is all I can smell when I breath. I also lost my sense of taste, smell for over a week....Is this normal with a sinus infection?

ur loss of taste is due to antibiotic usage .
and ur loss of smell may be due to secretions from mucous membrane of nose .
both get cleared in few days without any treatment.
