What Causes Loose Stool And Stomach Cramps?

Hi,

I have had persistent loose stools and painful cramps for the past 5 months. I have been to the doctor and had my stools samples tested. I have also passed minute amounts of blood with my stool; not all the time but on and off. What could be the cause of this persistent loose stools and stomach cramps
