What Causes Loose Motion In My Baby?
Hi Doctor,
My baby had loose stools continuously for 2 days, as in 5-6 times mostly stools in the form of water.
The stool test reported presence of occult bloos and an RBC of 15-20, I couldn't see any traces of blood in his stools. Please advise.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Child is suffering with GIT infection probably bacterial.
Stool culture to be done to know the exact cause or bug to be eradicated.
Stool culture will also tell you the exact drug to be used to get the optimum result.
Antibiotic according to the culture report to be used with proper doses. Hope this will cure your child.
Hand to mouth hygiene to be strictly observed.
Bottle feed is also very important cause of such infection.Needs to be take care of.
Always stick to 'ONLY BREAST FEED POLICY' for the healthy child
