Does it have any side effects on pregnancy and is it safe for her to take them? She was giiven the pills by student doctors, l could not see confidence in them when she was being helped by them. Please help. Thank you.
If there is no pain abdomen and cramps then chances that loose stool is not of infective in origin. Then loperamide can be given . No harm to mother and fetus. But if infective cause then antibiotics are required.
