What Causes Long Lump On Upper Back With White Pus In It?

I have small elongated lump on upper back right on the line of spine. I has white sticky smelly puss and somewhat itchy at times. Around it later some itchy rashes appeared and subsided with medication. Still the lump with bad smell remains. Not painful but slightly itchy at times. May I please have the answer?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for asking!
It seems like an infection and needs some topical antibiotics and dressing and debridement of the pus. keep the hygiene and good clean clothings. Gram positive organisms like staph epidermidis cause that quite often and Nothing to worry about. if it repeats again and again get to a dermatologist or an infectious disease specialist to help you with it.
take care
