Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Scalp is a very sensitive area & any minor damage or injury to it can cause scalp tenderness.

certain conditions like Migraines, tension headaches, skin conditions like psoriasis, rashes, sunburns, head lice etc can cause scalp irritation and painful.

I advice you to take analgesic, neck massage & stressfree. If there is any signs of folliculities, scalp test is needed. Avoid intense stress & contact with heavy chemicals etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
