Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My granddaughter, age 2&1/2, started about a week ago with with a change in her gate and the way her left leg looks. She limps slightly when walking and it almost looks like she is going to trip on her left foot when running. Her left foot turns in extremely and she throws that leg out when she walks. She says nothing hurts, and I have checked her hips and legs for range of motion and the seems to be no problems and she did not complain of any pain.
For this we have to do work out, see the length of both legs from hip to toe, any difference. Any bow leg may be due to VitD and calcium deficiency. If you are worried, better go to child specialist and ortho regarding her gait.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
