What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding Post Intercourse?
I have had abnormal Pap smears in the past and had to have cervix cells frozen and sent off and came back fine. I have 2 healthy boys and my husband and I had sex a few times while I think I was ovulating and that was about a week ago. While we had intercourse Sunday we noticed a light bloody discharge and then yesterday I bled a few times while peeing and a bloody discharge and once again this am. So far there hasn't been any more but I'm worried?! I've never had implantation bleeding before....is that what this could be? Could it be a sign of cervical cancer? Thank you in advance!
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Source of bleeding immediately after intercourse is normally cervix. As you previous had cervix problem this might be dangerous sign in you & must be ignored. Such bleeding can be a symptom that you might be suffering from sexual transmitted infections ( chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, herpes, human papilloma virus, or HPV), trauma, allergy, precancerous cellular changes, or even cervical cancer Implantation bleeding occurs 8-10 days after the intercourse, So this bleeding cannot be implantation bleeding.
You should consult a gynaecologist & go through complete check up
Hope this information helps
