What Causes Light Pink Vaginal Discharge And Abdominal Cramps During Periods?

I am 48 in a half years old & have always had a regular heavy period. This month I have only had a pinkish red color discharge only when I wipe. This has been going on for 5 days & I had a little cramping the first 2 days. Is this considered normal.

It is mostly suggestive of vaginal fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with cyclopam or meftal-spaz for stomach pain. You can take Fole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into the vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part either by regular washing or you can use v-wash vaginal gel for local application.
