Infection like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), or a sexually transmitted infection (STI), like chlamydia. 2. Mechanical injuries leading to damage to the vagina, such as tears caused by dryness or friction during sex. 3. Cervical or Uterine polyps. 4. Inflammation of the cervix called Cervicitis . You can wait for some time for it to subside. In case the spotting continues, kindly get following things done to evaluate for the cause: 1. Pregnancy test with urine sample 2.
