What Causes Light Green Discharge Form Surgical Site Post Umbilical Hernia Surgery?

had umbicial hernia surgery with mesh was also using a wound vac. but was taken out on sept.3 2016.and now i have light green drainage. is that something i should be concered about. my next follow up with my doctor is on sept. 15,2016. im scared because i had a bad experience with the same thing. now this is my second surgery. please help!!!!

Hello welcome here. Green discharge is not a good sign.It says there is infection. I m sorry to say this. Please dont wait till the appointment. It has to be treated early as soon as possible. Go and show it to same doctor. Take care.Good health.
