Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This suggests contact dermatitis. Applying a topical steroid and taking an antihistamine will hasten recovery. I used to give Desonide or Fluticasone ointment along with Levocetirizine tablets for such cases. Kindly discuss with your doctor, as steroids are prescription drugs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
