What Causes Leg Swelling After Bladder Infection?

i was told i had a bacteria in my colon plus ecoli in my urine , i was put on nitrofur mac 100mg i thought that was only for bladder infections. also my feet and legs are swelling and were before i began the medicine. is something more serious underlying this

I can understand your concern.
There could be several causes for that. Is there any other swelling like swelling of face or abdomen. You should be investigated for that. Diseases effecting cardiac or liver or kidneys can cause swelling of limbs. Along with that there are several other causes also. After a physical examination investigations should be done depending on the examination findings. Further treatment depends on the diagnosis made.
