What Causes Leg Cramps When Diagnosed With Fibromyalgia?

Hello. I hv fibromyalgia, but I hv symptoms that started a few months ago that I am wondering if it s a fibromyalgia symptom. In the evenings my legs get a strange sensation. Like I want to draw up into fetal position. Not quite a cramp but I hv to Massage them a lot. Thx

Hi there,

I would definitely say your symptoms are associated with fibromyalgia. I'd recommend ibuprofen, which can help with inflammation and reduce the cramping. I'd also recommend staying well hydrated, as sometimes cramping can be a sign of dehydration. Finally, make sure you're taking a multivitamin, as sometimes cramping can also be indicative of vitamin deficiencies.
