What causes leg ache after a herniated disc surgery?

i had back surgery for a herniated disc and 2 compressed nerves about 2 months ago and i started having leg pain 2 days ago. It is from the right knee down on the back of my leg about 4-6 inches. It is only when i lay down and try to move or pick my leg up.

Hi,

It is due to nerves impingement caused by herniated disc.
You can consult an orthopaedician and get an MRI scan done.

Hope I have answered your query.

Now this is pressing on my Sciatica and causing sever pain and I going to physical therapy for 2 weeks, which I did three years ago and I woke up one morning and didn t need the surgery, the pain was gone. Pain is in my back and down my leg. Wondering if I should get an MRI to see what is happening? Thanks for your help.

My 37-year-old son has been dealing with sciatica from his hip to foot for most of 8 months. He has aL4S1 herniated disc. He has also developed a popping sound with each step he takes. Will that popping sound go away after surgery to repair the herniated disc ?
