What Causes Left Sided Pelvic Pain And Pain In Breasts?

Hello. My husband and I are currently trying to get pregnant. We have been trying since August 2014. I am now currently 8 days late for my monthly cycle. Of course, my first thought is finally a pregnancy! However, all HPTs are showing negative at this time. I have been experiencing left sided pelvic pain consistently for about four weeks, went to my Gyno who said it was just ovulation pain. The pain has continued and I have had severe cramping in my abdomen for the last week. In the last couple of days I have had moderate low back pain and pain in my abdomen that feels like I have to urinate although I do not. I have also experienced aches in my breasts although they are not sore to the touch and have not enlarged. No nausea, mild fatigue. I m starting to worry about bladder/kidney infection that may be the cause of the missed period. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Hi
greetings

I can understand your concern.
since the pregnancy test is negative we should be ruling out ectopic. However test may be repeated with early morning urine sample.
Since the pain is radiating to back, infection in urinary system has to be considered. It could be a ureteric stone causing the dull pain. But that cannot be the reason for your delayed periods.
Another possibility is pelvic inflammatory disease which can alter your cycles.
I suggest you to have a gynaec check up and an ultrasound scan to rule out any abnormalities.
Hope my answer helps you.
Regards
