What Causes Left-sided Pain In The Neck While On Lisinopril For High BP?

I m 47 years and started taking lisinopril a month ago because my bp was high. Since I started taking this drug, Ive experiencing some pain on the left side of my neck thereby rubbing my neck to relieve myself of the pain. Is the drug the cause of the pain I m experiencing?

hey hi,
One common side effect associated with lisinopril is neck pain! almost 60-70% of people who are on lisinopril experience neck pain! I would Recomend you to talk to ur PCP to change the drug if the pain intensify! in other case mild neck pain is very common!
