Hello,
The most common cause of left sided headache with dizziness and
blurred vision is low blood pressure (
hypotension). The cause can be
dehydration, intake of certain medicines or medical conditions. It can trigger dizziness, blurred vision, headache and fainting. You are suggested to take plenty of water, ORS, soup, Electrol, etc. Other medical conditions that can cause such symptoms are migraine associated vertigo,
tension headache, vertigo, anemia, etc. You are suggested to take home made balanced food rich in iron, calcium, proteins, etc. You can take supplements.
Sensitivity to light and sound, oily spicy food, skipping meals, etc., triggers the symptoms. You are suggested to get clinically examined by ENT doctor. Get ear examination done to detect vertigo. Get other required examinations done as well. Since you are suffering from vertigo, you are suggested not to do any heavy work, not to drive and stay at rest. You can take Vertin-8, one stat when needed. You can take medicines after getting examined by your local doctor. Take
acetaminophen, one stat when needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
