Hello and thanks for using Healthcare Magic. Sometimes when a kidney stone is passed, there are small tears in the ureters, the tubes that bring urine from the kidneys to the bladder. These small tears can take a while to heal and can cause pain. Sometimes infections also develop so if she has fever, cloudy urine or pain with urination she should see a doctor as soon as possible. Her doctor should be able to recommend an appropriate pain medication to help her until she recovers. Drinking plenty of water will also help as the pain can be worse if she is dehydrated.
