What Causes Laryngitis Along With White Spots At The Back Of Mouth?

Have had laryngitis and sore throat for more than a week. Saw ENT for unrelated ear checkup. Said it was just allergies. Since then, a few white spots on fiery red roof/back of mouth have appeared and tongue hurts as if I cut it down the center. Sore throat is worse.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sore throat, Laryngitis along with white spots at the back of the throat can be due to bacterial infection in throat and white spots seems to be pus pockets secondary to infection..
Redness and pain on tongue seems to be due to inflammation of tongue secondary to infection..
I would suggest you to start taking antibiotics like Azithromycin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations..
Chew Vitamin C pellet daily and suck throat lozenges..
Avoid spicy and hard foods and sip on plenty of warm water..
To relieve pain and soreness related to tongue and roof of mouth you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
