What Causes Large Purple Bruise And Swelling On The Bicep?

I woke up and have an extremely large, dark purple bruise on my bicep, it was very swollen as well. There is a little lump inside of it. I have had it for about three days now, it seems to be getting better but I may just be getting less shocked by it so i m not sure. If I press on the hard lump it hurts a bit, and can hurt a bit more after but other than that its not that painful. What is it? Do I need to get it checked or will the bruise just go away? I may have banged it but not in such a bad way that I remember where this could have come from.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it could be insect bite, lymph node swelling due to infection, it may be nonspecific lesion, in all these case better to wait for some time if the condition becoming worse then better to see the doctor, abscess would be matter of concern here Tab Ibuprofen 200 mg can be taken three times in day hope this information helps.
