What Causes Lack Of Fetal Movement During Pregnancy?
Hello, I was wondering if it is okay that my baby doesn t move. I am 16 weeks 2 days pregnant, I ve felt a little stretching before but now nothing & I ve noticed that my vigina area has been a little swollen the last couple of days. I m just a little worried since this is my first pregnancy.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Quickening is the first perception of fetal movements by the mother. In earlier weeks of pregnancy, like about 16 weeks, it might not be that evident. You would generally start appreciating it well by 20 weeks of gestation. However, any reduced fetal movements needs immediate evaluation. Kindly get an ultrasound scan done to make sure the things are alright. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
