What Causes Labyrinthitis And How To Cure?

i woke with a spinning room friday. friday & saturday were like being on a roundabout but now more a rocking boat which is a bit easier. gp said labyrinthitis & gave travel sick tablets for nausea which helps. am due to fly abroad (5hour flight) in 2 weeks for a wedding & want if ok

Labyrinthitis is inflammation of the labyrinth or inner ear.
Labyrinthitis is inflammation of the inner ear and is caused by infectious agents.
Labyrinthitis is characterized by spinning of head and medication which controls or prevents head spinning are used for treatment.
Antibiotics are the mainstay of treatment, however antibiotics may take some time to act thus, in the meanwhile you can take medication for symptomatic relief.
