What Causes Kneecap Pain And Tender After Knee Injury?

About two weeks ago, I tripped, and my knees took the major impact. My right knee cap is tender to touch, it feels like a severe skinned knee. However, the skin isn t torn. I can t kneel down without pain in front of knee. Also, I m experiencing a strange deformed feeling in knee, upon kneeling. There is also, a popping sensation, while walking. I think it s odd, that I m still hurting after two weeks, if this is a bruised knee. Is it possible that I could ve fractured my knee cap?

For pain and tenderness in knee cap you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or ampoxin after an expert advice along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus for pain, tenderness and inflammation. You can also use powergesic or volidup gel for local application. You can do hot fomentation or use knee brace to reduce the pain and inflammation over knee cap.
