What Causes Joint Pain And Severe Fatigue?

My Doctor went over my lab tests with me but at the time, I was extremely emotional and not fully grasping the explanations coming out of his mouth. I have pain in my joints sometimes so bad I can t leave the bed (occasional stiff hands) severe fatigue and low-grade fever and once I had chest pain that was supposedly gastroenteritis. RF- 67 URIC ACID- 4.4 SEDIMENTATION RATE- 30 ANA- POSITIVE ANA TITER AND PATTERN PATTERN- SS-A ANA TITER- 1:640 PATTERN 2- SPECKLED ANA TITER 2- 1:640 METHOD: IFA CRP-5.6 (random low-grade fevers of no more than 99.6 and rigors) CBC is all normal except MCV is 78.0 MCH is 25.7 Lymphocytes are 17.6 Eosinophils are 7.4 Lipid, Thyroid and Metabolic are all normal. It will be another Two months before I can see a rheumatologist. What other testing can I expect to have done in order to narrow the kind of AI disease I have or if I even have one? I am 28/F 20 pounds overweight for 3 years since my last baby. (2 kids) What does this sound like? I m worried because I m tired more often than not and pain well it s not my chief complaint believe it or not but it can get uncomfortable quickly. Currently on 15mg meloxicam

Hi,

This sounds like systemic lupus, especially with the positive ANA titer. You should absolutely see the rheumatologist as certain other autoimmune disorders can also cause a positive ANA.
