What Causes Joint Aches, Fatigue And Lack Of Motivation?

im 75 5.7 and weigh 275. i walk every day and am usually healthy. the last few weeks ive began to have aches in my joints , sholders, back, hips etc ,,and i have a compieat lack of energy. i have trouble getting out of a chair , cant get up and down and im very tird all day.

There different possible causes for your fatigue and pain. These include the following: (1) infection- particularly viral
(2)autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus etc
(3)side effect of medication
(4)fibromyalgia
(5)hypothyroidism
(6)mood disorder

To find out the cause, you would need to see your doctor for an assessment.

This would include history of all symptoms, physical examination and investigations such as complete blood count, ESR( non specific inflammatory marker- goes up if there is any inflammation in the body), thyroid function tests.
