I have yellow scales on my scalp I have been treating my scalp with medicated shampoos everyday for 2weeks now It feel better initially , but as the day goes on it gets worse and itchy at night and is pussy fluid that comes with it and seems to be growing in size as time goes on. It 1st appeared after a stressful allergy and I cook for a living and have in the past put my hair up when my hair was still damp and wondering if this maybe where it started.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a dandruff or other related fungal infection.
As a first line management you can apply topical antifungals for symptomatic relief.
If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
