What Causes Itchy Vagina Post C Section?

i had a c section last week, been doing all my OB told me to care for my incision, my bleeding, and everything else, after going to the restroom last night my vagina felt itchy, was wondering if it would be the meds I m on, the sanitary napkins I m using, something to do with the c section, taking Oxycodone 5mg, ibuprofen 800 mg, levothtroxin 50mcg, & docqlace 100mg, have also been sitting down a lot...

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Itching sensation in the Vagina following C-section could be due to allergic manifestation by use of certain brand of sanitary pads and not due to the medication you are consuming.
Kindly wash the area twice daily by using mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. You can take Tablet.Levocetrizine once a day to control itching. Apply moisturizing cream at bedtime.
Take care to keep your genitals under good hygiene and your symptoms should subside gradually.
