What Causes Itchy Small Spots On Roof Of The Mouth?

Hi I have had itchy small like spots on the roof of my mouth for about a week now, It is like before you get a fever it tickles and you itch it with your mouth itself, or suction of the back of your nose, I have also alcar at the same time on one side of my gum. I have the alcar under control with bonjela but the itchy spots has not gone away and still itches. What could be the cause of this? Everything else seems to be fine and I do not have a fever at all or sore throat. I quit smoking 9 months ago and started using electronic cigarettes which uses e liquid ingredients of Propylene Glycone and Vegetable Glycol which is All USP food graded. Why would it be after 9 months? Or is it not that? I also had Genetal Warts (hpv) a year ago & have had no symptoms reactions since then anywhere on my below parts, seems totally clear, I have had no other partners or had any oral sex.. Just me and my wife.. This raises concerns could it be related to that? Or is my throat small itchy spots an allergic reaction to some dust/food? Please help answer this and what s best to do to calm the itchy roof of my mouth

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain the itchy spots over the palate seems to me to be more commonly due to allergic reaction to either any food or medicine[if you take] or any allergen present in air like dust, pollen, animal danders etc..

It does not seems to be due to constituents of liquid cigarette as yo are already taking it from 9 months but can be a delayed allergic reaction so it cannot be removed as the cause..

Nothing to worry, as of now you can take Cetrizine or fexonfenadine [allegra] which are antiallergic medicines and can provide relief from itching.
Gargle with warm saline water.
gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia will also help..

Avoid smoking for sometime.

In case if there is improvement, then you can consult a physician and get evaluated and get a blood test done for allergic testing and it will help in ruling out the exact allergen so that you can prevent exposure from it..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
