What Causes Itchy Skin Growth On Palate?

I have a spot in the roof of my mouth that has come and gone for years... It came back recently after not seeing it for two or so years. It is always in the same spot and seems allergy related as it itches a lot. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

As per your complain itchy growth over the palate that keeps recurring can be due to causes like allergic reaction to any food or medication, bacterial or viral infection etc.
It needs a proper evaluation and examination of the exact cause of the sore and can be treated accordingly..
You can be advised a swab culture of the sore to check for infections while a blood test can be done to rule out for allergies so that the exact cause of allergic reaction can be ruled out and treated accordingly..
In case of infection a course of medication like antibiotics or antiviral medications depending upon the exact cause can be helpful..
In case of allergic reaction anti allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl and topical steroid ointment can help..
Avoid exposure to the allergen once it is ruled out can help in preventing recurring symptoms..
