What Causes Itchy Skin Followed By Red Sores On The Skin?

What is it when the skin itches and a red sore appears and it remains on the skin for days ?? They appear on the arms and hands neck .. The skin is not ,@broken like a mosqito bite.. I am 58 years of age female .. No major health problems .. I have low calcium...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain itching followed by appearance of red bumps seems to be due to Contact dermatitis that is an allergic reaction and as you come in contact with the allergen there is Urticaria or Itching followed by red bumps..
Common allergens can be Certain detergents, skin cosmetics, medicines, foods, latex, leather, mold etc..
I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Levocetrizine to control itching..
You can apply cool compresses over bumps..
Apply steroid ointment to reduce inflammation..
Calamine lotion can be applied to soothe the skin..
You can also consult an Allergist and get evaluated and allergic tests can be advised to you to rule out the exact cause of allergic reaction and treatment can be advised accordingly..
avoiding exposure to allergen is best way to prevent reaction..
