What Causes Itchy Skin And Boils On Face?

Hi,I have itching skin especially during night time and i found they were boils that were itching. The boils are on my face now and there is pus and blood coming from some. When i shower, the skin starts peeling off and now my face is very dry. This is the first time i am facing this, i usually have acne but not boils breakouts.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy skin and boils on face . The bumps you mention occur due to many reasons like excessive sun exposure or allergy . The other reason of red bumps can be a skin infection. Use facewash containing salicylic acid and apply kojic acid cream twice a day after washing face . Use sunscreen with SPF 15 while in exposure to sun to prevent skin from excessive sun damage. Avoid factor which are responsible for itchyness.

-Exfoliate facial skin with water based exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin.
-Apply aloe vera gel at night .
-Drink plenty of fluids and water to hydrate yourself.
-Give cold compresses to reduce itchiness and redness .

If condition persist even after month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , antiviral , steroid drugs (oral/topical) or isoteritenoin.
