Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Face, Cleavage And Cubital Fossa?
A raised bumpy rash suddenly appeared on my cheeks, temples, forehead, on & behind my ear, as well as between my breasts and in the crease / inside fold of my upper & lower arm. Not sure what would have caused it in so many inconsistent areas. It does itch a fair amount.
As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes on the face, cleavage and cubital fossa which seems to be that fact that pores of sebaceous glands gets blocked with bacteria, dust and other particles especially in body folds. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take proper course of antihistamine drug along with short course of oral corticosteroids after proper prescription. Wash face with facewash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid. Exfoliate your skin once in a week to remove the dead skin. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist again for proper diagnosis and to rule out any underlying condition. Doctor may prescribe isotretinoin , steroid ointment or antibiotics course. Drink plenty of water. Maintain complete hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
