What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Breasts And Buttocks?

Hi, it s very embarrassing but I have a rash with welts on my breasts and buttocks and it s very itchy, I ve had it for a month and I ve applied rash cream and I ve been taking Benadryl but the itch doesn t stop, Is this a question for my obgyn or my GP?

Hi thanks for posting on HCM,
Quick answer: to GP or better to Dermatologist not to obstetrician.
According to your description it's likely that you have fungal infection or a condition called sebhorric dermatitis which also have a fungal involvement partly. Anti itching cream and anti histamine drugs (Benadryl) won't cure this unless you should apply anti fungal treatment. Also its better to get your blood sugar levels checked if you are not diagnosed to have diabetes yet. Eczema is the other common possibility for this and you should apply steroid application in that case. So what I suggest is to visit a dermatologist or a GP before that and not Gyenocolgist. Thank you.
