What Causes Itchy Rashes At The Back Of Leg?

I ve had what looks to be a rash on the back of my leg for over 6 months now. It itches very badly, I ve been prescribed antibiotics for this and nothing has helped. The skin is beginning to scar from scratching so much. I ve changed laundry detergent, have not traveled, and am not eating anything new that I could possibly be allergic to. I currently work at an infectious disease office, and was diagnosed with MRSA last year which was treated with IV Vancomycin if that helps.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this the rash since 6 months then it could be due to eczematous condition and it can be managed with "Hydrocortisone cream" antibiotic does not have any role here, to be very fact all the skin manifestation demands the clinical observation for right diagnosis because it is kind of art of looking at the lesion, so better to see the dermatologist if hydrocortisone fails to work, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
