What Causes Itchy Lumps On Inner Lips Of Vagina?
I have had small lumps (nothing major) over the past few months develop on the inside of the outer lips on my vagina. I have not had sexual intercourse for atleast 5 months. They have only just started getting itchy. I was wondering if it would just be because it s getting hotter in summer now or if it is something I should get checked?

I understand your concern.
Small lumps in the vagina which are itching is suggestive of either yeast infection alone or in combination with bacterial infection called 'vaginitis'.
Kindly was the area with warm water and mild soap solution twice a day to maintain good hygiene.
You need to take oral antibiotic course such as metronidazole or clindamycin for bacterial infection.For yeast infection, you need to take anti-fungal medication fluconazole or itraconazole, orally as a single dose.
Kindly wear loose fitting undergarments to provide proper ventilation.

What you are experiencing itchy lumps on the inner lips of vagina could be due to yeast infection. Apply antifungal medication like butoconazole or clotrimazole cream for three to seven days.
Sometimes, it could be also due to bacterial infection and hence it is advisable to take a course of Metronidazole along with.
Keep the area under good hygiene by washing with mild soap solution. Wear loose fitting undergarments till the lesions subside.
Your problem should subside soon.
