What Causes Itchy Eyes?

I've had a really itchy eye especially near tear duct for a few months.

I've just examined it closely and there's a fine blond hair growing out of the fleshy pink tear duct area in the corner of my eye. Should I just trim it down to stop the itching or should I do something else?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having itching of eyes associated with blond hair near the tear duct.
This indicates inflammation of the caruncle.
The treatment is by use of antiinflammatory drugs and antihistamines.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
