Hi. I ve got a rash on my anus, two sides. There are big bumps like pimples forming a circle (like a coin). The circle skin is swollen and parts without rash turn kind of white. Itching is unbearable and i ve already scratched it too bleeds several times. No connection to food or fesces I can discover. Warmth May be a contributing factor. Please give me some advice. .

General & Family Physician, Dr. Asad Sami's Response
Hello Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your concerns.
If i were your treating physician i would have done you physical examination and digital rectal examination to rule out any 3rd or 4rth degree haemorrhoids.4rth degree haemorrhoids come out during defevation and need manual repositioning.they also usually cause itching. For haemorrhoids i would have prescribed tablet daflon 500mg or tablet doxium 500mg as a medical trial.these have shown good results in clinical trials.. 3rd and 4rth degree haemorrhoid may need surgery.
I would also look for perianal haematoma which needs evacuation.

I would also prescribe albendazole 200mg or mebendazole oar levamisole for enterobius vermicularis infection which also causes itching in perianal region. I would suggest you yo meet gastroenterolgist and deworm yourself after each six months. Thanks. Hope the answer is helpful. Regards
