What Causes Itching On The Hands With Small Blisters?

I have been experiencing occasional itchiness on my hands. It starts with tender bumps on my hands or fingers, when they itch it it is hard not to stop. After the itching calms down I will get a reddish blister in the area where it was itching. The only thing that has changed since this started is I have been using Flonase (actually a generic brand) for allergies. It only happens on my hands. Thoughts on what this could be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

It seems to be hand eczema. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily along with antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
