What Causes Itching In Throat?

My throat hasnt been hurting but it is a little scratchy. Sometimes when talking it feels there is something in my throat. And whenever I drink anything .. it takes like... (I know this is weird but it taste like the smell of a retirement home.) I bush my teeth twice a day . Ive tried mouth wash. Nothing has help. I do not taste it when I eat but now im starting to taste it randomly when I breathe (I breathe with mouth shut) I do have allergies so there is snot in my throat. There usually always is. I looked into my throat but I dont know what normal looks like .

Read your query as you feel itching in throat this itching in throat can be due to throat infection or due to allergies .
Dont be worried so much I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for examination of throat and inmeantime do warm saline gargle two - three times a day . You can also take medicine like Azithromycin or Allegra by consulting with your local doctor .
