What Causes Itching In My Eye?

I walked into a friends house and within 30 seconds my eye started ittching terribly. I muscled through staying at her house as the itching continued to be intense. I stayed for about 45 minutes. When I got hom my eyeball has a pocked or sac of white (tinged yellow) fluid on it at the corner of my eyeball. Is not affecting my vision. I have taken benadryl and allergy Clear Eyes. Still hurting I can feel the sac of fluid. Its annoying. Is this serious enough for the ER or do I wait and see what will happen tomorrow and get to my primary when I can. Thanks!
