What Causes Itching And Rashes Under The Arms?

hi Dr. around a month i got some itchiness in my underarms and that grew into a rash, in both the underarms area. i saw doctor and they gave me some cream to put on (that cream was a cure for viral and bacterial infection). the rashes started to grow. they showed up on my neck and on arms aswell. but the cream was hlpfull. it didnt cured the whole rash away. but stopped from growing it further. thn i ran out of cream n after 2 days the itchiness started to grow again. i went to clinic again and this time doctor gave me a different cream. it is a bit helpfull. its now 4 days that iam using this cream. i wokeup this morning and i found this white dryness like thing on my penis. i thought it is a winter dryness. but my concern is. can it be a hiv?? actually i had a random hookup like 2 months ago. that guy just gave me a blow job. n after that he said now you have rabies. it got me worried. but thn after 2 weeks i went to sti clinic and got my sti check they were all good. but nurse said that hiv normally takes like 1-2 months to show up.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
The condition you described seems to be scabies. Its a kind of parasitic infestation caused by a mite.
Consult a dermatologist, who would prescribe you oral drugs like ivermectin and antihistaminics. Also, apply a cream containing 5% permethrin, below neck onwards to cover whole body followed by bath in warm water after 8 hours. Do not repeat the same unless advised. Ideally, everyone in the family should be examined and treated in similar way to prevent recurrence.
Launder clothes and beddings in warm water.
Maintain proper hygiene.
Hope this will take care of your issue
Thank you
