What Causes Itching And Electric Shock Like Pain On Back?

For almost a year I have an itch on the upper left quadrant of my back just below the shoulder blade that's becoming more chronic. Also, sometimes I feel a brief sharp pain almost like electric shock on the upper right quadrant of my back. What can this be?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Get an X-ray done to evaluate for vertebral compression.
2. Compression of nerves in between the vertebrae can cause electric shock like pain on back.
3. Nerve compression might be causing different sensations, and itching may be due to this. Get an X-ray done or MRI.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
