Hello, You are suffering from itching and cuts (bruises) in the vagina area. You are sexually active. Simple cuts are commonly caused by shaving or hair removals used in the private parts. If penetrative sex is performed without proper foreplay and arousal, without the use of lubricants in dry vagina, it can cause bruises in the private parts. Yes, yeast infections can also cause itching, redness, sores (that look like cuts) in the genital area. Take a course of antifungal medications orally, like fluconazole for relief. You can also apply antifungals available as creams, ointments and vaginal suppositories like clotrimazole and miconazole (Monistat 3). During sexual intercourse always use lubricants. Avoid inserting sex toys and foreign objects in the vagina, always insert and remove tampons gently. Avoid multiple partners, stay away from sex for a couple of days till the cuts and bruises heal.
