What Causes Irritations And Pain On The Throat?
I feel like I have a golf ball in my throat. I went to the ENT and he put a scope down my throat and stated that everything is clear. He has me scheduled for a test in which I will swallow some dye and take an x-ray next week. This has been going on for quite some time. No one can feel this except for me. My head sometimes feels like it is going to explode. Feels like blowing up a balloon and waiting for it to pop. My ears even hurt sometimes. At night when I go to bed is when it is the worst. Last night I woke up and because my left hand fell asleep so bad that I had to get up to get the feeling back. It has never been this bad and my heart rate was pounding like never before. Why am I the only person that can feel this in my neck? Blood tests were fine and its not a thyroid problem. Any suggestions?

Thanx. You may be suffering from globus pharyngus . it is a disease that manifest like feeling sensation in throat. actually there is no pathology behind it. it mainly due to some psychological issue or gasrtric reflux disease, i advice you some treatment. first do not use choclate, fats, spicy foods, beverages. use cap. omeprazole 20 mg twice daily half hour before meal. tab. escitalopram 10 mg once daily and tab. loratidine 10 mg once daily.
