What Causes Irritation And Sweating When Hungry?

Hello. I m 24 and i get really hungry sometimes, so hungry that I have to eat something right away or I will be very irritable, sweaty, and shakey even my legs shake and feel weak. This is usually around 10 or 11am if I don t eat a good breakfast. I should mention I breastfeed. This has been going on a few months now and I want to know why it s happening because I haven t always been like this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I read your history carefully.
Feeling sweaty, shaky, weak and hungry can be a sign of hypoglycemia. It can also be an early sign of diabetes. So, you should get your RBS done at the time of feeling the symptoms you have mentioned. Also get your FBS and PP2BS to diagnose diabetes.
It is not related to breastfeeding.
Hope this will be helpful.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks for writing at HCM.
Take care.
I find this answer helpful
