What Causes Irritation And Pink Spotting In Vagina After Intercourse?

I had sex the other night and before we had sex I was being fingered but the next morning when I peed it started to burn. I automatically assumed it was a uti so I started drinking cranberry juice. Well I still felt bad but then when i wiped I had pink on the toilet paper. I don t know what it means. Then I checked the cranberry juice and it was expired by a year....could that have made it worse?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I do not think the expired cranberry made it worse, but I suspect of possible vaginal laceration when fingering or due to hard/dry sex. Keep good genital hygiene. Apply vaginal probiotic ovules to ease the symptoms. If still pink bleeding, should check out with gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
