What Causes Irregularity In Menstrual Cycle?

I am worried about the healthy length between periods. My period has generally been between 32-34 days. However, as of late, it has been moving upwards from 37 to 41 days. I have not changed anything in my daily life and my diet is generally pretty healthy. No fluctuations in weight or extreme exercising.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
the change in length of periods are usually influenced by change in hormone levels (in most cases)
i would advise to
1) consult a gyanec, and choose from different hormonal pills available, as this can regulate your menstural cycle effectively with almost nil adverse effects.
2) try to have adequate sleep of at least for 6 continuous hours, which would add to the help. need not panic.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
