What Causes Irregular Periods,bloating And Weight Gain?

Hi I didn t have intercourse but Sperm somehow proceed on my clique. I took plan b three days later. I last had my regular period Feb 26. Then I missed my period in march. I then got a light period April 20 . I feel bloated. I gained about 3 or 4 pounds. Am I pregnant?

Hi,

Plan B contains levonorgestrel, a female natural sex hormone that acts as an emergency contraceptive method and used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses, if it is taken within 3 days after unprotected sexual intercourses. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may cause delayed, missed or irregular periods, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods, abdominal bloating, changes in body weight, vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge etc. These side effects are mild and usually go away over time without any medical treatment.
